Happy Campers

We've just had a wonderful weekend, on account of our luggage arriving!! Got a call Thursday morning (that's Saturday to all you Westerners) informing us of its location in the Mukalla airport. Took a drive out through the desert and sure enough, there it was... full of sand, considerably beat up, but nothing was missing! This is an especially impressive fact, given how long it had been in the hands of the "authorities."
The retrieval of our missing luggage has been a primary concern this last month, as it contained certain invaluable items, namely maple syrup and Tim's coffee. Thursday night we feasted on a pancake supper, drowned in maple. Few things have ever tasted so good.

Evelyn, the heat just broke and we're lovin' it. It's now a chilly 30 degrees. Brrrr.....where's my parka?

By the way Tim, we don't have a way to MAKE the coffee yet, but just looking at it is comforting.

Whoo-hoo for your luggage. The fish market looks like fun.
